Sameh has more than 10 years of experience in assurance and audit. His work experience includes performing a broad spectrum of external and internal audits. 

He has been a key member in the internal audit department of Yemen LNG, a multinational company and an affiliate of TOTAL SA. At Yemen LNG, he carried out an extensive array of audit services including financial audits, operational audits, compliance audits, and IT audits. 

Before joining Yemen LNG, Sameh worked with Grant Thornton Yemen, where he supervised and performed many audits in a broad range of industries, including not-for-profit, health care, oil and gas, trading, and hospitality. Work performed include financial statements audits, agreed-upon procedures engagements, preparation of tax returns, compilation, payroll tax, and special audits. 

Sameh is a Certfied Internal Auditor (CIA),  Yemeni Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has extensive training in IT audits, SAP audits, and external audits from leading training provides including SAP (Germany), MIS Training Institute (US), and SANS Institute (USA). He received his bachelor’s degree from Sana’a University.

Ahmed has more than 15 years of experience working in audit, oil and gas, and education industries. 

Before joining AuditVisor, Ahmed has been working as the chief audit executive (CAE) of Yemen LNG, a multinational company and an affiliate of TOTAL SA. At Yemen LNG, he was responsible for leading the internal audit activity and providing assurance and consulting services on internal control, risk management, and governance processes. During his tenure, a diverse range of internal audits including financial, operational, compliance, and IT audit was performed. 

Ahmed has also worked with Grant Thornton Yemen where he supervised and carried out many external audit and consulting engagements including special audits, business valuation, feasibility studies, and designing accounting manuals. Ahmed has also worked as a teaching assistant at Sana’a University. 

In his previous work, Ahmed has served on many committees including senior management committee, tender committee, and several committees to achieve HSE standards including ISO 14001, and ISRS. He has also served on the committee to establish the Yemen chapter of the institute of internal auditors. 

In addition to his current job at AuditVisor, and since 2013, Ahmed has been working as a lecturer (part-time) with the Lebanese International University, where he has been teaching several courses including cost control, audit, intermediate accounting, and accounting information systems. Since May 2015, Ahmed has been an author with the US IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors). He has written hundreds of approved questions of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam. Additionally, He has been a global guidance contributor with the IIA since April 2017. 

Ahmed is also a professional trainer and has provided many training sessions in a wide range of areas to different organizations including the Yemeni Association of CPAs, and the Accounting and Management Center.
